Watch hands 1520 movement
Hi all, looking for some hands for a 1520 movement. I have seen hands advertised that "will fit 1530 to 1570" then others that say "they fit 1520, 1530, 1570"
Question is, will hands that fit 1530 to 1570 fit a 1520?

The 1530 is the base caliber and ran at 18000 BPH.. the 1520 is mostly the same movement running with a different balance and gaining some speed at 19800 BPH..
I don't think that there was any change in diameter or to the hand stack or post/staff... I think that when they say "will fit 1530 to 1570", if you go by the evolution, the 1520 came after the 1530.. In any event, the minute and hour hands of the 15 series movements should all be the same diameter..i.e., 1520, 1530, 1555, 1560, 1570, etc. The difference is in the length of the posts and not in their diameter...
