YG GMT II Series M vs. YG GMT II Series V

Are there any differences in these two watches?

If buying a previously owned example: would you assign a higher dollar value to the M (2007) than the Z (2006) assuming everything else is equal. e.g.: Box, papers, condition.

Many thanks for your opinions.
Gary

Given everything being equal (that's many different things like condition of the case, bezel, crown, bracelete, clasps...and potentially the gasket, movements, and other things can't be seen without opening the case)...you would want to look at the Warranty Paper to see when the watches are sold.

DDs don't move as quickly, you can potentially have a "Z" serial selling later than an "M" serial.

Please provide more background as to why you are asking this question - so the members of TRF can help.

My $.02 is that with the GMT, people are going to ask (and probably get) a higher price for the M strictly because the M will have the 3186 movement, whereas the Z may or may not. Plus some put value on the fact that with the GMT, the M was the last series before the ceramic bezel came out (and ruined the watch)

BTW, as you may or may not yet know, people out here, myself included, are VERY passionate about the GMT.

Yes, happy to share. The question is my due diligence as a buyer.

I'm bidding/negotiating on a YG GMT II Series M and also a YG GMT II Series Z. I want to determine if the later M carries more value. ie should I be willing to pay more.

The Z has a warranty card (I think) but carries no in-house warranty from the seller.

The M does not have a warranty card but has a two year in-house warranty.

All others things; condition, boxes etc seem to be the same, but I'm not an experience buyer.

Both sellers are long time watch resellers of good reputation.
