Happy Holidays, it is not easy being Green....or Blue

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holiday season.

Here are a couple of quick and dirties on top of the washer maching with no tripod. The are not good, but these are the combos that I will be sporting this weekend.

I have grown to appreciate every watch for what it is. They both are stunners in my eyes mate, thanks for the kind words.

Did you get a new watch recently JJ?

Great duo Daren and must admit the more I see the LV the more I like it, IMO looks better on wrist than pictures.

Now thats a nice Panerai .... I dont know whats happening, but I am beginning to develop into a "Blue afficiano" ....My Blue TT Sub,my future ss/Jubilee/blue dial/DJ,my moniker, the name of my quadbike(The Blue Bull),the rugby team I support (The Blue Bulls)...perhaps its the end of the year blues . I even love Blues music .....

Which model Panerai is that ? Special or Limited edition ... ??

Pam88? US$5000?
Sweet if I didn't have a GMT, I go for one. I think Rolex do GMT much better (in terms of functionality) than Panerai but the Panerai looks a lot better!

Yup it is an 88. Both look really nice Daren. Love that blue denim sharky. I'm still waiting for my navy blue strapworks to land... three weeks since it was sent...

Nice duo, Daren. But, unlike Peter, I think the LV looks better in pics than on the wrist. But that's just MHO.

But I do like the 88. That's nice looking.

Nice Rolex and nice watch that Rolex gave birth to!!

(the original Panerais had Rolex produce the movements for them)

Not the most original Pannies, but the early ones for the war were indeed.

Thanks guys, I do enjoy them all, but the 88 still seems to dominate the wrist time.

No real reason, I just seem to go in waves with all my watches. I actuallly will switch from the 44mm PAM to the 36mm DJ with no problems.

What a great pair! That PAM is a real eye catcher... do you find the LV is more comfy on your wrist than the PAM?

I think the PAM may even be more comfy than the LV to be honest, I would guess it is because the straps fit my wrist perfect. Now, comparing the DJ and any watch that I have owned is a no contest that DJ on the jubilee is da bomb diggity.

Don't get me wrong, the LV is very comfy and I need to loose some weight because I used to have to take a link out, now I just made it one hole smaller on the micro adjust and it fit perfect, I am a fatty.
