So now I'm broke...

But I'm happy I ordered a clasp from Steve Muholland and a pair of pristine 502Ts from Anastasios. Should receive them soon, and I can't wait to get them on the Explorer.

Welcome to my world I stopped shopping for a new watch because i would feel guilty to spend thousands of dollars on a Rolex. But your watch looks great!

Kyle, I'm a great admirer of your artistic ability regarded taking photos of watches, and I love your explorer, especially on the nylon strap.

But I gotta ask this... How does a 14 year old have this much money? As a college student I was dead broke and scraping around for cash. (obviously Kyle isn't old enough to be in college, that was just my example)

Most of the money that I have gotten since an early age, maybe 7 years old, has gone to the bank and stayed there for a while. But last year, after my mom purchased a Rolex for herself and my dad I decided to use that money to buy myself the Explorer. Also it's pre-owned, so that cut downs a lot of money.

Oh cool! That makes a lot of sense, thanks for answering and not taking offense at my question. I understand that it was extremely nosey.

How Does A 14-Year Old Devote So Much Time Staying On A Watch Forum All Day & Night? Heck When I Was 14-Years Old, There Were Many Other Things I Was Doing, School And Working On The Farm Once I Got Home! My Folks Never Afforded Me The Time! Believe Me At Night I Was In Bed Tired As Could Be!

But, To Each Their Own I Reckon!

Yeah I should start cutting down on the time I spend here. The workload is getting harder and I'll probably be focusing on school soon.

That's a very pretty watch, and I too admire your photos. At 14 when I was an enthusiastic novice Scuba diver I was obsessed with (among other things) Rolex Submariners, however they were far beyond my reach, financially. After recently restoring my Dad's old Everest, I got the bug again and got myself an LV for my 51st birthday. Too bad I didn't get one of those 5513s back then for a few hundred bucks.
