DSSD-The ROLEX BEAST !

I have just received my new DEEPSEA-SEA DWELLER the ROLEX BEAST or the ROLEX Nuclear SUBMARINER !
Well first impression, this ROLEX is a high tech. piece of equipment, sturdy and a little bit chunky compared to the Sub's.. But still very comfortable to wear.. Although it has the same number of bracelet links as the Sub, I think I have to remove one link.. I feel it must be tight on my wrist because the huge case & thick 5.5mm crystal give a high center of gravity upward!
The glide lock is one of the best inventions by ROLEX... it is perfectly machined, feels extremely robust and very easy to adjust. I will post more detailed pics about it later..
Well I am not a professional diver but as an old SUBMARINER user, I can tell that the DS has a different characteristic than the SUB's familly even If I am not diving that deep but believe me it's a very nice feeling to think about the titanium case, the thick crystal and the ring lock system while wearing this ROLEX!
If anyone is interested to know.. the poster's background of these photos represents the Sphinx of Amenemhat III from the 12th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt.. made of a solid black granit block.. I was just inspired to put it as a BG for the DSSD.. Enjoy.

This is my favorite watch of all time. The clasp adjustment on the fly blows me away every time I use it. Congratulations on buying the best diver money can buy!!! My sub is now a dust collector.
