Headwind
Got this lovely Headwind this morning.
Bought it from a very helpfull guy on the bay. It was buy it now or make an offer. He accepted £300 less than Buy it now. I then offered to drive down and pay cash to save him the fees. He was about 40 mins from me. He said whatever is easier for you I'm not worried about the fees. Well in that case I said. If I Paypal you the money this eve, Could you post the watch next day delivery. I got his reply later that day. (Yesterday). Hi Simon. I posted the watch this morning. It will be with you by 1pm. It arrived at 9.30am today. I did of course Paypal him the money last night but how good was that. I'm very pleased with the watch. Its a 2005 Headwind on brown croc with deployment. All original with box and papers. the watch is almost mint. I'm one happy bunny. |

I've been chasing a gold dialed Headwind for some time but still haven't caught one yet. One of these days.

I had a black dialed version of that watch a couple of years ago. What a stunning piece! I don't know if the dial of the white one was produced the same as the black, but if it is you will find it quite unique. The dial face is actually sterling silver, and the black (on mine at least) was lacquered over it. The writing was not painted on, in fact it was actually etched out of the lacquer to reveal the silver beneath it. Just gorgeous!
