I see in many threads that Tudor uses modified ETA movements. There is no information on the Tudor website except something generic like "automatic movement". Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what movements are used, and in particular the Hydro 1200?

ie Valjoux 7750, 7751, or 2824-x etc?

Not sure of the movement used in the new Hydro, especially with ETA not selling ebauches to brands outside the Swatch Group anymore.
When ETA movements were [maybe still are] sourced Tudor used the highest chronometer grade. The chronos used 7750's.
Sorry, don't know the movements in other references.

Careful with the Hydro 1200, Tony. It will make your DSSD look like a midsize.

My understanding was that the movements were specially made for Tudor by ETA. I believe the most common were/are Val. 7750 for the chronos and a modified 2824-2. I could be wrong, though.

Not specially made but Rolex did use the top chronometer grade movements
like the 2824-2T and the Valjoux 7750/1.
