Black Romans get my vote - I love romans on a watch. To me it makes it both dressy and casual; something to be worn at any occasion :)

Black roman

The black roman is much more classy.

The champagne is IMO to classic too classic.

Be sure to ask for illuminated hands during change, otherwise is useless in the dark

Black.... but you should think about a white face.

My Dad switched from a gold to white face... then again, his eyes are bad and he couldnt just glance at the face and tell the time because of the gold hands and the gold face. But I must say that the white face looks SOOOOOOOO good.

Of these 2, my choice is the black dial. I think it's more unique than the champagne and a little more distinguished.

I've got a gold DJ w/gold face, a TT TOG w/black, and I had a TT w/gold face. They all look great. If I had only one Rolex, I'd take the black face everytime. It's a great combination of dressy and sporty, and the black fits best with the gold and stainless of a DJ.

I've got a crappy (diamonds on the face and bezel that I've never cared for) DJ with a silver face that I'd like to change for a white one, too.

I've always had a preference for the classic champagne dial, but I love that black face with gold roman numerals. I'm won over.
