independent watch service in NYC

Can any of the members recommend an independent watchmaker in NYC who they would trust restore an early El Primero movement (not from a Rolex, but a Zenith -- however I thought the Daytona owners would know). Or alternately, point me to an appropriate thread if this has been posted before.

Thanks in advance

You may want to look at Manhattan Time service:

http://www.watchrepairny.com/

They have some pics of a restored daytona on there.

Cool i was looking for an independant watch maker. I want to get the coke bezel on my 16710 replaced with a pepsi. Rolex Service Center will do it but then they will keep my original coke.

I hope this guy will just swap it for me.

My first post in the forum after being a long time reader.

Just wanted to say thanks for the Manhattan watchmaker recommendation. I have been searching for sometime for a reliable local watchmaker to service my Tudor Sub and a bit later on, the 14060. I'll give them a shout tommorow and make arrangements to drop the plastic crystal queen off. :)

Cheers,

Serge
