Problem with my submariner winding mechanism?
I had a quick question about my rolex submariner's winding mechanism. It is kind of difficult to explain, please bear with me.
My submariner is "A" serial, which dates to 1999-2000. I purchased the watch about a month ago. Immediately as I begin to loosen the crown (rotating it left) I hear the "winding sound" even before I have placed it into the winding position. Then, once I have it in winding position, I cannot get it into the time adjusting position unless I rotate it counterclockwise a few millimeters, then it allows me to place it into time position. This is the regular sub model, no date. Is this normal for a sub? My rolex date does not do this. Thank you for your help! |
