Explorer serial numbers

Is there an accurate place to find the exact year make your Rolex would be?

Here is a link to serial numbers, but these are when the case was made, not when it was put in the distribution system or first sold, which would be later.

We have a complete chart... we also have clasp code identification..

Both of these are in the Reference Library and you can use them to help research an approximation of when the parts were stamped..

It is not really possible to know exactly the date your watch was made...

Nearly all the case date stamps with letters are only a approximation year when a case was stamped.And most things Rolex can be found below in forum link and in the Rolex reference forum.
