Can anyone tell me what year the SEL became standard on the Seadweller? I understand that it was before they came out on the Sub-date, but trying to nail down a Serial number/production year for that feature.

1980 with the release of the 16660.

Wow...I didn't know they had them that early on. It makes you wonder why it took awhile to make it to the Submariner.
