Hello
I've been a Japan-domestic watch only guy for a while, however I have always had a desire for the Rolex Sub. A couple of months ago I decided to go for it and I've been saving up for a no-date sub for a while now. I have decided on the no-date because I already have several date-dive watches and I like the clean lines of the No Date Sub. I have learned a lot on this forum and I hope to be "in the club" very soon.
Watches I already own: Seiko MarineMaster SBDX001 Seiko 6309-7049 circa 1984 dive watch fully serviced by Jack at IWW Grand Seiko SBGR023 |

Welcome
That no date Sub is a mighty nice piece of equipment to wear. An excellent first choice give your other watches. As you say it has very clean and classic lines, no cyclops, so you will love it, and the price point is quite good too. The solid construction and excellent timekeeping of the 14060M are better than some watches made by horology's most prestigious houses. Many of those houses churn out new models year after year, but the time honoured traits of the no-date Submariner have changed very little in decades.

Welcome
I love the Submariner, it has a cleaner look than the Sub Dates. This is a good place to learn more, b4 you make a buy. BTW, I have a couple of Seikos myself. Share some pics of the Seikos (and Sub) when you can. |
