TT Blue or TT Black Submariner

I am heavily debating on buying another Submariner. The TT Blue just screams elagance, but the TT Black is very appealing and to me appears BOLD. Also, black & gold are traditionally the colors of success. I feel I should make the move in the next few months. I love both these models, but can only buy one. One more thing, I am leaning towards the TT Blue, but feel I may regret it, if it draws to much unwanted attention, whereas, I feel the gold may be a little less obvious, but not by much. If you were this torn between the two, which one would you go with?

Sorry, but I thought you were between a Green bezel Submariner and a TT Blue Submariner...

I'm not much of a TT fan...but I'd go black over blue anyday.

Although I still would like to have the green as a collector's watch.

For me, it is black.
Black & Gold are classics.
The blue is nice, but it is "IN YOUR FACE" all the time.
I like stealthier watches.

Man, I am surprised with the results I am seeing.
I am not into TT, but if I had to choose, I will get black.
I actually thought blue would be the popular choice, I guess not.

Black all the way... the blue is too bling and whenever I see one I immediately think 'fake' as it's one of the most faked watches made.

If you're into the Black one, my advice is GO FOR IT... I initially couldn't vote knowing you were torn, for me it was a matter of love at first sight when it came to the Blue one.

My advice is to walk into an AD and try both these watches on for kicks... see which one makes you smile bigger...

As far as these polls go, I think it's an interesting concept buying a watch based on other's opinions. I'm definitely going to do this when it comes time for my next purchase.

Black would definitely be my preference if I was to consider a TT Sub.

I love both watches and each has its own place. If it was to be an everyday watch, I would prefer the black. The blue is very beautiful and my 13 year old loves it. However, the blue does draw attention.

I faced the same decision 1 1/2 years ago, and chose the TT Black. The poll results so far are surprising, I thought there were more TT Blue fans here.

Personal choice, I would go with the black TT. I once tried out the blue TT and it brought me back to the 80's . One step further: I would choose the Anv. GMT TT over black Sub TT

I've never thought of this before, but screaming and elegance might be mutually exclusive. Have you made your mind up yet?

Al - don't judge the preference of the forum based on the number off TT Blue Sub pictures you see. That statistic using pictures is a little, uh, skewed by one person here.....

Blue all the way. Until you see the blue in person it's hard to appreciate its deepness and color on pics over the internet.

TT BLUE Sub without a doubt. Although after the purchase of the Blue, I'd love to add the TT black to my collection.

Ditto the responder who opted for the black anniv TT GMT over the sub choice. That is an awesome watch!
