Anyone hear of a Panerai price increase?

I am looking at a couple different models right now (104, 312) and was
told by an AD that it will be 3-4 weeks to arrive in once its ordered.

I then called another AD in PA and they said basically the same thing
but mentioned rumor of a price increase in October. I'm not a Panerai
follower as I've just strayed from Rolex and was wondering if any of
the folks that follow these things had heard anything?

Any thoughts? I know that this is a method that Rolex uses all the
time (3-8% just this past week in the USA) but how does Panerai
do things? Or do they raise prices every year when they release
the line up for the year? Thanks for any thoughts.

if that is the case, and my 339 for which I am on the list gets more expensive too, I will cancel it without a doubt!

With Rolex and Omega uping thier prices it would be strange if Panerai missed the opportunity.

The increased it not so long ago also (I think). For Rolex it was two years ago...

Well, I placed my order so we'll see what happens in a few weeks. The AD did say
that it could be in in less than 3 weeks & he would let me know if the whispers of
an increase got louder before the watch came - we'll see. Thanks!

I personally believe Panerai will be increasing their price soon, not sure exactly when though. But I haven't heard of their price increase in the near past, so I assume it is "reasonable" for them to do it soon...
