Explorer II info required

Hi Guys and Gals,
Does anybody know if the 1655 Explorer II bezel is the same size as the 16570 Explorer II bezel as I would like to buy a bezel protector for my 1655 Explorer II and obviously I can only source a 16570 bezel protector, WILL IT FIT ??????
Your info will be gratefully received.
Cheers,

Spark

Just out of curiosity, Mark, why would you go out of your way to buy a bezel protector? Surely, you're not planning on wearing the watch with the protector covering the bezel?

JJ,
It hadn't occured to me before to wear it on the watch, but it would save on refurb costs at the next service
No the actual reason is I am fed up with trying to strategically place a tissue over the bezel when it is in it's box, because being brushed it marks really easily and I thought it would be a good idea, we all have silly pointless ideas from time to time DON'T WE???
Perhaps I'll forget it
I'll waste the $20 on something more enjoyable like 3 beers

Mark.

I have a plastic bezel protector I will swap you for a Sub Bezel insert?

Hell, I will even throw in some platic covers for the back and sides of your watch!

LOL

The Sub bezel protector will be too loose for the smaller diameter of the Exp-II.
