SS yachtmasters have different dials

I just noticed two slight different dials for the SS yachtmaster. Can somebody tell me why the difference? But this is what I noticed, if you look at the swiss made on the bottom of the watch. One is further apart from the other. And also the 30min black line is thicker.
well here are the two pics I noticed. These pics I got from people that posted here I hope nobody minds.

First one is a F serial with close "swiss made".

the 2nd pic is from a D serial

The 3rd is an old add from rolex

4th and 5th are other random pics i picked up.

the thing is that mine is a Z serial but looks just like the F serial one...Its like they went back to the closer "swiss made" after D. I dont know
so to all the yachtmaster owners does yours have the wider one or closer one and what serial is yours.

Just a different font used by one of the dial manufactures, before Rolex bought the factory out to start to manufacture under there own name. And over the years very slight variations on several models though the complete range

Here are two different ones. One is a 40mm and one is a 35mm. Both are "D" Series. One is close together, one is not. My guess is, different model numbers are different??

Padi is right, this phenomenon of the "swiss made" gap has also been observed on the dials of the Green Submariner. It seems that different dial manufacturers for Rolex used a different spacing, and then Rolex bought out the dial manufacturer and may have made changes too. The one good thing to note is that they are all genuine dials :)

The "add picture" YM is a midsize, see slimmer winding crown so it shall be slightly different from a full size.
