a lady in work proudly showed me her new "rolex".when i looked at the back of it it had writing around it.she promised me it was genuine but my understanding was that only the sea-dweller has writting on it.i hope i dont look a right plum as i told her that it shouldnt have the writing.regards paul.

There is writing on the back on some ladies Date, Datejust.

My wife's older Lady DJ had some inscription on the back. Can't remember the exact words, but I think they went something like this: Original Rolex Design Stainless Steel.

Well, Paul...It looks like you're going to have to tell her you were wrong. My wife has TWO authentic Steel & Gold Lady DJs, and they both have "Original Rolex Design" and "Stainless Steel" on the back in a circle.
