Rolex Sticker with a difference
Hi Guys:
This 16610 is for sale by a watch dealer in Sydney AU. Can anyone tell me anything about the sticker on the caseback? I have never seen one like it before...... here's the link http://www.clockmaker.com.au/w/k444_...ner_16610.html Steve |

I have never seen a sticker like that, where the hologram usually is. I think this needs some further investigation.

The top portion says Nihon Rolex, bottom says direct import.
Underneath that label is your regular hologram.

If there is a Rolex sticker underneath as Ken says, then why didn't the dealer remove the top sticker to show the genuine Rolex hologram one underneath? I reckon any non-Japanese potential buyer would steer clear of that unit. Might be a Miyoto Rolex. Thanks for the info guys. |

Just kiddin', Andy. Frankly, I've never seen that Jap sticker before....but the Asian guy above is a figment of Allan's over-active imagination!!

On a serious note, Nick Hacko (whose shop is on the site referred to) is a very good dealer. He knows his Rolex and he wouldn't be caught dead with anything that wasn't genuine or straight-up. I'd certainly buy from him, although I haven't!
