Seeing everyones collections and pics makes me wish I could
trade my datejust to try one of them subs, seadwellers or Yachtmasters..
I've only tried on a yachtie a few times and a Tudor chrono but that's
all.. no sport rolexes that I lust after if funds were avail..

Not my recommendation, my friend. Keep that DJ - it is a classic Rolex - and plan for the acquisition of one of the great tool watches. A Sub, SD, GMT or YM will come your way, but personally, I would never give up that great Datejust.

And remember, the grass always seems greener....ROlex has it rigged that way. I have an LV SUB and a GMT ll, and I am crooning for a classic DJ. So the grass is really not greener as you do have your classic to look at. And in your own time, you will get another one. But there is no rush, and I would keep the DJ forever.

I am in the same boat as Arturo. Debating trading in my Sub LV, Sub ND, and GMT II for a Datejust and another Explorer II..

I am starting to like more and more the classic style and size of the DJ. Especially the new DJs with the beefier case and new bracelet. And better illum. Very classic. I also really like my Exp II black and now have to get a White. Like the smaller size and no bezel to mess with.

I think everyone should hang on to thier Sub LVs for now till we find out what is going to happen at Basel. If they discontinue it then it should be quite valuable.
