Help indentifying 30s/40s Rolex watches

What a relief to find this forum after a lot of searching over several days on the internet.

I'm hoping some of you knowledgable people can help me identify the watches below. I have no interest in selling either of them, but would be interested to know their value/s.

The first is rose gold in a pretty sorry state. Would it be worth having it restored??? I'd so love to be able to wear it.

It has a family member's name engraved on the back with a 1933 date and is of considerable sentimental value to me.

The chrystal is badly scratched, both the blue metal hands are still there. It has wonderful patina.
The watch measures approx 2.5cms.
It is double hinged.
In the back is engraved "9C" in an oval, "Rolex 20 World's Records", "Geneva-Suisse" and the number 49973.

The second watch is silver-coloured, but I can't get the back open for further info & don't want to force it. I wonder what metal it is made from??
The design is very art deco.
This one is in good working order, keeping good time - but seriously needs a service & clean. I plan to give it a birthday very soon.
I don't believe the bracelet is the original.
We believe this one was purchased in the late 1940's.

The first one, is a 9ct rose gold Rolex, early and it has a broken lug]. I don't know how you're going to fix that, but it's definitely a nice piece. I would recommend putting the hands back on though. As for the second one, it may be white gold.I'm not too sure. Nice pieces!

have registered - but no luck yet.

however, got through to a Rolex AD/service centre (since I bumped this post) not too far away from where I live & have emailed pics, info etc.

For those of you interested in such things, I thought I would post that the rose gold watch has been identified as a Rolex Rebberg c1920.

Unfortunately it is such poor condition that we have decided not to have it restored ~ this advice came from a trusted contact who worked many years for Rolex in Australia.

The good news, though, is that the white gold & stainless steel art deco designed Rolex will def be serviced & sympathetically restored ... beginning in approx a week

This will include a new band - very probably a cocktail band.

Boy, it's been a steep learning curve for me since I first joined TRF!!!!
