Rubber Strap or SS Mesh on OceanRacer Dive Pro2?

What do you prefer- rubber strap or stainless steel mesh on an Ocean Racer Pro2 deployment clasp?

I have the mesh on my Superocean Heritage 46 and I love it. The rubber, while sporty and nifty looking just seems to pale in comparison.

If you don't mind a heavy watch it's fine. It wraps around my wrist nicely...I'm wearing it right now as a matter of fact.

I bouth my SOHCLE on mesh. It tore my wrist up!! Not heavy at all, just grabby! Not the mesh itself but the gaps between the few removable links towards the clasp actually would pinch me. Sometimes they would catch hair, but this was minor compared to the skin pinching. It actually left a red mark to the point I sold the mesh and switched to the rubber. Rubber is super comfy and the clasp is like butter - much smoother then the one on the mesh. Obviously the watch lost a lot of "formality" switching to rubber - it's a much more casual look!

I also own a SOHC LE, Volcano Black on rubber strap. I'm thinking of purchasing a SS mesh to change the look and personality of the watch; sort of like "sporty" during the day and "classy/handsome" at night.

BTW, the SuperOcean Heritage Chrono LE is an awesome time piece. I smile everytime I look at it.
