As promised, Pic's of my DJ
Getting better at taking pictures...Still not as good as they could be, but maybe it's the camera I am using. Anyway, heres some shots of my SS DJ with my 1911 .45 (RIA).
And a wrist shot... Enjoy Mike |

Thanks guys!
I presume most guys on here are using the big dog cameras, with the big lenses and what not. Mines just a little hand held, slim as the razor cell phone, Casio Exilim. Mike |

I really like the unique dial (is that a cream jubilee dial with arabic numerals)?

This may be a dumb question, but i'm not familiar ( and I was told there isn't a stupid question in school )
But what other types of bezels are there? I've seen differences, just wondered how they are made? and what there names are? Thanks again guys !! Mike |

They have the fluted one (white or yellow gold) and the smooth dome bezal.
I have the white gold fluted one, looks similar to yours but different.

Nice! I thought it was fluted. So the fluted ONLY comes in WG, as to mine ONLY in SS?
Nice DJs!!! Mike |

I know of fluted, coin-edge, engine-turned, bark, smooth and inset-type bezels. There are probably more, but that is the extent of my recollection. Chime in, folks, if you think of more!

Thanks prince! Everybody hear seems very helpful, unlike other forums where you can pick up some sarcasm and flaming.
Is ' domed ' - the same as smooth bezel? IMO fluted or the engine turned defines DJ-DD. Mike Last edited by mlb; 16 April 2007 at 08:02 AM.. Reason: - |

The fluted ones are made of 18k gold and the engine turned are SS if I am not mistaken.

Domed is the smooth one.

When setting the time, is it ok to wind the crown backwords? Like if it is a few minutes ahead, Can I just go back a few minutes or do I have to go all the way around?
