SD bracelet question
Hi,
I noticed that my SD 16600 Z-serial does not have an "O" in the diver's extension link. Otherwise the bracelet seems fine. Is it possible that the extension along with its link has been changed from an older model? The clasp code matches with the watch age though (2006, OP5, 93160A code), so I am wondering if it is original after all, and there have been some SD bracelets without the "O". |

Hi Tero,
My 'Z235***' SD has an "O" on the extension link. I have no idea why your SD would not have one.

Maybe dealer took out the wrong link when they sized the watch for you?
This happened to my Sub LV. Never noticed until Rolex service center pointed out to me recently when I took it in to fix a problem. I checked the spare links in the box at home, and sure enough it was in the box.

The o is not realy an o it justs marks the spot to open the extended part of the bracelet by pushing on it and sometimes if someone detailed the watch too aggressively it can be ground off just saying it's possible. Rik

Although anything is possible, if a bracelet needs to be made smaller and a couple of links are taken out, sometimes that one is removed.
It is actually the very first link that can be taken out as the first link is attached to the extension and the second link is the J-link, then comes the o-link (as Rikki says, it's just a small stamp and is like any other link). After that you only have the final two removeabe links.

Gotcha guys, it's probably taken off by the 1st owner. Gotta check my pouch of removed links, it's most likely there.
