Choices in life are difficult.....
Like -which Sub to wear for the game? Do I go with 69' Tropical Sub or 61' 4 line Gilt Sub??? Given the cold weather today here in Glenfinnan-might have to put on the trusty old 4 liner! Something about a vintage Sub that grabs me heart!

Agree with you Connor! Life offers hards dilemmas. I wish that they will always be the kind you present here!
Both watches are beautiful vintage, and it is truly difficult to decide. Why not one today, and the other tomorrow? Or as it have been discussed in a different thread lately, why not one on each wrist? Enjoy your jewels Connor, and in good health!! Cordial regards, Abel.

I would go with the Sub from 1961 hands down. PCG, Gilt Gloss Dial, 4 lines, Chapter Ring...that is the ultimate Submariner with crown guards and the one to which they can all trace their roots. Stunning watch.

That 4 liner is the way to go for sure.
Given that's settled well I guess you wont be needing the red sub....so I've got space for it

Ken you have way so many beautiful vintages.....I can see a Comex or a Military Sub in your future
Comparing your WG SubC to your vintage pieces, which do you find gives you more satisfaction, if that is a possible question to pose, for me I really love both, but if I had to choose I would have to say vintage. I mean why is it that I (and many others) keep going back to vintage, if those watches were not special.

Steve-Thanks!-Definitely vintage for me--With that said-the WG is my favorite modern watch and the feel of it is unreal! Love the weight--love the dial. Vintage to me though is where my heart is--especially when you can track down perfect pieces! I am working on a Big Crown now--we will see!! Also-maybe a Military Sub--who knows??? Have a good one buddy!!

Thanks David---it was a tale of two halfs. The Steelers did not show up for the first and the Ravens weren't on field in the second half.

Thanks John!!! It has such a nice even chocolate dial in person--even the bezel is brown to match dial. Love them both!! Heck--Love them all--What an expensive habit it is though!!! So many watches I would love to have --always another one--LOL!
