1939 Vintage Ladies' Rolex

Anyone familiar with the Rolex of this decade? This old manual still ticks and I was wondering if its historical value might be of interest to collectors. I don't know its model but my local jeweler believes in its authenticity based on the markings inside. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
