Authentic Omega stamp on works
Here's a brand new way of describing a fake Omega - a new one on me.
Interestingly, the description says the watch is gold-plated, but the case-back shows a hallmark for .750 (18K solid gold)... Looks like someone bought a set of metal stamps that have been so prevalent on ebay for some time. If you ever see something pretending to be an Omega, with the "hallmarks" stamped on the outer case back like this, it's a guaranteed fake. Omega have never marked cases in this way. I wonder if he bothered to remove the bridge before he punch stamped the "Omega signature"bet some poor sod will buy it.Check picture of movement well he got one thing right its a wind up. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Omega-Seamaste...QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks, Padi....that is an obvious POS. But the real error lies in the printing of the numbers - 750.
Pure 24 K gold is 1000 (note, no decimal point), but some print it as 999.9. Therefore, 18 K gold is classified as 750 and not as .750 which is a blunder to begin with. The dial looks terrible as does the rest of that POC (piece of crap!)
