Benrus Military

I've aquired what I believe is a vintage Benrus military watch. My grandfather was in WWII and it might be his issued watch. I have reservations about this because the watch is in great condition. There are a few scuffs in the crystal and on the case. Otherwise, the watch runs accurately and the hands and face are perfect!

The back of the watch reads:

Watch, Wrist
General Purpose
Mil W 46374
Mfr Benrus
Serial # 06476
Stainless Steel

Can anyone tell me if this watch is from WWII time period. If anything, I'm almost sure its from the 60's or 70's era.

Could you post a picture of the watch.

I have a replica Benrus. Purchased it from U. S. Wings just to have one.

So, I picture might help identify whether or not it is a replica or original.

Search

Selling a 1975 Military Belforte Benrus Plastic Watch MIL-W-46374A in mint condition. It is in fact never worn although it has some light scrathes caused by collectors' inattention to put it together with other watches. Watch is a manual wind 17 jewels. On the back of it says:
USA-00-74-0-0273 Benrus Jul 1975 Mil-0-40374A Dispose-Rad-WT6T8 6645-00-952-952-3767 US Partent

The pictures were taken specially for this watch. Thanks to eBay's photo wizard you can see all the beauties / merits and signs of use / age as well as cosmetic conditons. Make your own judgement by looking at from all the angles before you make a sound decison to purchase since peoples' description to a thing varies. Please request photos from us if you can not see them clearly if you are serious.

This model sells at $399 on eBay. Here is your choice for $249.

Please read before you bid!!!.

I firmly believe it is wrong for seller to cheat buyers. It is also wrong for buyers to do after transaction / sale bargain by picking up small discrepancy. Watches nowadays are both expensive and cheap. since WalMart and others are selling cheap watch at $7.99 that can be used fine too and keeps time. Please don't buy them even if my price is the lowest one on eBay or internet. You buy them only you need it. Sell a watch and purchase a watch is a happy experience. If you dont' belong to them, please don't bid. If you don't have many feedbacks, please contact us before you bid. If you don't really need them then came back like a crying baby, please don't bid. We reserve the right to communicate / check with you before shipping.
