FS: Fortis B-42 Marinemaster & Extras
For Sale: Fortis B-42 Marinemaster, stainless steel 42 mm case, 20mm lug width, water resistant to 200 meters
Comes with extras: three straps and one factory-ordered replacement lug bar and screw, remainder of international Fortis warranty. This was purchased new by me in November 2006. It is a superb watch, its just not getting any wrist time since I got the Rolex in January, and if its not being used, I may as well sell. Comes with leather box, warranty card, case plastic with remainder of one year warranty (to November 2007). Rubber Fortis strap and metal deployant clasp sized to my 7.5" wrist. 97%-99% TZ standards. One visible scratch, on caseback. Three after-market straps are included: black Rhino NATO with PVD buckles, black Hirsch Sky Surfer, and carbon fiber Di Model waterproof leather with deployant clasp. I also had Fortis Canada send me a replacement strap bar and screw to have as a standby, an additional $20.00 value. The watch is currently on the DiModel, the most comfortable in my opinion. Some minor desk wear on the deployant clasp of the Fortis band and the Di Model band clasp The Hirsch is unused and the Nato is clean, with PVD all there on the metal rings Case is 42mm, bezel is 44mm, with 120 click in rotation; bezel turn is very substantial, very easy to grasp and turn and solid, no play. Movement is reliable workhorse ETA 2836, day/date in English and German Dial is matte black with the best lume and most legible dial I've ever owned, with 24 hour graduation on outer portion of dial Crystal is sapphire with AR coating both sides; at times its seems like there is no crystal, its so clear. Crystal is 100%. Case is brushed stainless, only scuff is on caseback, rest of body is scratch free. This design has solid steel bars with slot screw on one end for strap changes. The bars are not wimpy metal posts with springs; these are solid steel bars normally only found onthe high end tool watches, strap changes are done with one jeweller's slot screwdriver. Crown bears the Fortis crest, and is a push in style. This is the easiest watch to time set that I currently own. Price: $800.00 USD, includes PayPal fees, shipping is extra. I will accept PAYPAL ONLY to confirmed addresses only. I will ship to CONUS and Canada , FedEx insured and tracked, with signature receipt. Buyer pays for shipping, brokerage and customs duties I reserve the right to cancel all bids and end sale. Seller not responsible for lost or damaged items during shipping. I ship when your funds clear. Please e-mail your questions and enquiries to: hermits@295.ca Thanks, best of luck to all who are interested, this is a great watch and with the extras is a solid deal.
