gmt 2 relume

Hi i have a gmt2c and wanted to relume it in a blue color like the new subs. But would this void the warrenty with rolex? And does anyone know where i could get this done in either toronto or vancouver that would do a very good job so that it would look like a factory job?

When the watch goes for service and it's not as it was sold to you, the RSC will ask you to return it to it's original state as it was sold, and at a cost to you before they even service it. Otherwise they won't service it.
I hope this helps.

Surely thats not true at all. I brushed my bracelet and the worst that St James said would happen is that they just wouldn't service the bracelet.

im not too sure you would be able to do that, only the RSC themselves will be able to attain the Chromolight luminescence, which means you wont be able to get hold of the "blue lume"
rolex attaches the markers to the dial after they have been painted, so you cant just "repaint" the markers and hands,
so if you were able to get hold of some painted WG markers then it would be possible, but it would be a tough ask, it may be eaiser to get a submariner dial and just swap it out with the GMT dial but it would say Sub on it

There is a Blue SuperLuminova that can be used and any watch maker that can relume a watch can easily relume your GMT2 - I am sure Rolex will void the warranty but hell it is only good for what 2 years anyway so if that is a worry wait two years
