It's definitely an original Rolex. Your Rolex beats 28,800 bph = 28,800/3600 bps = 8 BEATS PER SECONDS, which conforms exactly to your picture.

Excellent pictures!! I counted 8 beats per second too from each image.

That is a nice lume shot too!

At the rate of 28,800 A/Hr. and divided by 3600 seconds (in one hour), you get 8 beats per second.

Great pic!!! 8 beats/sec is what I've read.
I'm sure I saw another thread a while back where someone else posted a picture showing the 8 "ticks" per second. They were great shots as well!!!

Really amazing! A watch timed with -get this- a camera! Those photos are simply the among the very best going! They even include a lume shot, in addition to the movement of the second hand and initial composition!

You don't need specs... there's 14 ticks there.....I used a 1.75 second shutter speed.. Had to make sure I covered an entire one second tick mark on the dial....
