I'm looking at a Datejust with serial #: 8198191 my guesstimate is from mid-1983 using minus4plus6's reference number list.

The dial has me puzzled - seller is a good guy but he bought it from a jeweler of family friend - so hoping for some expertise from our experts. Here's a pic - the T-SWISS-T looks like it's in an odd place and the cyclops doesn't seem to magnify as much as I'm accustomed.

Looks good to me.. 16030? There are a few on the net, they all look the same as yours. I know if you polish the crystal had, it can distort the cyclops alittle too. Maybe others will chime in!
