It is a rubber strap. The LE Blacksteel Seawolf only comes on rubber. However I'm toying with the idead of getting a bracelet and having it DLC'ed

Thanks mate. The weights fine. I can't remember how heavy your Chronomat is. It's about the same weight as my Bremont Alt1-z but lighter than my PAM (which is titanium). It felt a lot lighter than the steel braceleted Seawolf though.
