Hello everyone glad to have found this wonderful and informative site---what is the etiquette here---does a lot of negotiation occur or is the price the price---in addition, I see some for sale listings and the item sells one minute later---how does that happen.

Welcome, Michael! If the price is right, and the seller's rep is right, it goes. If it has been lingering for awhile, I may offer a slight reduction to the seller. I personally do not like a lot of back and forth, so the initial price should be in the range of reason.

Low-ball offers are insulting! If you do your research ahead of time, you'll be fine. Offering significantly less than listed price probably means you can't afford it in the first place
