My invitation to everyone here

I have to say all the ppl I talk to here have been amazingly nice and helpful in my quests. Unlike some boards where I get trashed on a daily basis (becoming a very entertaining sport I must say) everyone here can joke around and have fun while being helpful to ppl with questions.

Anybody who ever makes their way to Toronto please contact me, the local watch geeks that I know are very hospitable. We have dinner meets once a month and we are welcome to join the Panerai geeks at their meetings too.

We were planning a trip to the NE and into Canada, but with the baby on the way that has been put on hold. Someday, your phone will ring and I will take you up on that offer mate. But be nice mate, I tend to fit the bill as a geek in both categories.

Roger I just moved from TO. Where do you guys meet up? I know Kurt and Ken (from Paneristi) meet regularly with their guys in Yorkville.

This is the longest I've been out of Toronto, eight months now. I'm pining for a visit... and craving dinner (or at least brunch) at Cafe Brussel.

Thanks for the open invite, Roger. I've only been to Toronto once, about 8 or 9 years ago, for an American Bar Association meeting. I remember really enjoying the city and would love to get back there. One of these days I just might take you up on the invitation.

Yes, the ABA tends to hold meetings in out of the way hardship places, like Chicago, Hawaii, San Francisco, London - not Paris, though, they don't know what law is there.

To all the lawyers out there, can I sue Rolex for getting me addicted? It would be a double lawsuit since I need to sue for damages done to my savings accts for Rolex getting me addicted to watches in general and being addicted to theirs most.

hahahahahahhahhaha

Absolutely, Roger. Savings depletion is a tort and causing a watch addition is a criminal offense. Anyone of us will be happy to take your case and litigate it to your last dollar - but no further.

Are you referring to contingency cases, Frans. You gotta be real good or real lucky to hit it big with one of those. We prefer clients who pay on a regular monthly basis. It helps greatly with the cash flow.

Fine then, I'll just call My cousin Vinny, he helped out my other cousins that were accused of murder. Good thing his girlfriend grew up around cars and knew the make and model of the tires that were on alleged getaway car LOL

Well, John, if we had a good witness for a plaintiff, it might work. But who's going to believe some shnook with a Sub is an addict. Now if he had an all black GMT-II, then our chances would be much better.

No, I refer to injury cases against insurance companies (who are even worse than lawyers). Addiction, in my law book, only applies to illegal substances. You cannot litigate against a wine producer. No-one forced you to buy a bottle or a Rolex, for that matter.

Holy cow Batman, what has happened to me? I’m becoming serious! Help me, please!!!!!!
