Opinions on vintage Tudor
I was offered this watch from a guy I've dealt with before. My fear is that it is a franken (no patina on hands, but yes patina on markers). Also the bracelet is Rolex.. Is that strange?
He is asking $3500, I don't know enough to know if it is a good deal. Thoughts? |

The bracelet is not original, not sure about the hands. I'd want to see the serial and reference numbers.

If the seller didn't indicate upfront that the bracelet was not authentic I'd worry about the hands. Either way the price is entirely too high.

The watch is now listed on eBay. I've reported it; maybe others here should do the same.

You might as well drop an extra 1500 and get a rolex submariner from a trusted seller etc

That was quick!
In fairness, he does state that the band is not original. Not sure that he's allowed to do that though... |
