And some wonder why it might cost so much for a service.

Great video, thanks for sharing.

I did raise an eyebrow at this... but I guess it's the safest way of unseating the crystal...

this is a great video! thanks for sharing!

this attention-to-detail-by-hand is why i love patek! even shines through at service

i love this in particular, "... the watch case is then taken to the case and bracelet specialists where an aesthetic assessment is made on its condition"

last week rolex UK told me when they do polishing at their new facility every watch gets the same treatment in the same machine, much like a conveyor belt, one size fits all approach..

Okay...so...take the movement apart...put everything in the machine...put all the parts back into the watch...sounds simple enough to me!

Very nice video indeed! You have how much they care for the watches they service!

The company has an impressive level of attention to detail. Thanks for posting this video. I really enjoyed it. As an aside, I had to call Stern Co. in NYC a while back to ask a simple service-related question. Well, after a 20 minute conversation with the rep I left feeling very thankful to be a Patek owner. Regarding servicing, my only concern remains the lengthy wait times I've been hearing about.

Cheers!
