Ideas for wife's 1st Rolex

My wife has finally got the "bug" and would like a Rolex! She's looked at the ladies datejusts and finds them too small. What are some ideas that you may have for her 1st Rolex? I would watch this forum as there are many trusted sellers here. Thanks for any ideas that you might have.

Well they do a 26mm and 31mm ladies DJ or the boy sized 34mm OP,and there are the ladies Yachtmaster 29mm and a mid size 34mm which they class as 35mm in a sports type watch.

There ya go.

'Bout to get one for my spouse - 35mm YM is what she likes best.

My DH recently chose one for me that I LOVE....it's a 31 DJ with MOP face and diamond markers. It is the perfect size for daily wear and dress occasions.

Check post #2 here. There are pics of my mothers 3 rolex DJs and my wife's new DJ. All are 26mm. I LOVE my wife's new one with the Pink dial. I think it's the best looking ladies dial choice. It's a big purchase so make sure you get the size she wants. I tried to get my wife into a 31mm but she hated them. She's tall at 5'9" but the watch honestly looks great. I'm not a huge fan of the women in larger watches fad.

Here is my 26mm and my wrist size is 5.5 inches. You can get the exact same DJ in 31mm. I love the diamond markers.

Hi!
Just a gal's opinion.. 26mm might be too small.. 34mm is probably too big.. I think that 31mm is just right!
Thanks Goldilocks..
If I was going to get a new watch.. I would get a midsize 31mm two tone stainless steel Datejust with a Oyster band.. smooth bezel.. silver or cream face with white stick markers.. or a white face with yellow gold roman numeral markers.

My significant other wears a mens 36mm DJ and it works quite well. 31 mm is also a nice size. The mid-size YM is stunning.

Might I divert from Rolex and suggest a Tudor Claire de Rose?

My wife has a lady datejust but is totally in love with the Tudor. Maybe your wife might like it too? And more affordable to boot :)

Another option is the 34mm airking. Espeically some of the cleaner-dial models look really classy. The black dial with just stick markers is one of the best looking Rolexes ever made.

My wife wears a 34mm vintage datejust and a 40mm Panerai 119. She's going back and forth now between a Sub LN and a YG DD 36mm. I think the sub on a woman is awesome.
