I'd be interested in seeing exactly what is meant by 'off black' and the anthracite dial. I own a black PVD watch and it's been wearing fine, no scratches, etc. I like the looks and specs of this watch but would like to see the colors in the flesh. It's a bold design and a nice 'step up' from the normal Swiss Army line

I just placed an order for this watch and it's retailing for USD2K in this part of the world. I was bought over by the looks and high standard of materials used, the only hesitation is the brand.
Intend to enjoy it for a couple of years before selling it, but worried that a Victorinox may not be able to fetch a high price even though it's a limited edition |

Congratulations! I wouldn't put too many expectations on it holding its value. It may do just fine, or not... I thought it was supposed to sell for about $1400 USD? Be sure and post lots of pics and your impressions when it shows up. Great looking watch...

I like the look of it too! It looks very sporty and rugged. It looks like a watch that you can really beat up and it will still look like that. Great job to the people of Swiss Army for that model! They should continue producing it and not make it a limited edition model.

Robert, they have delayed the released until sometime in Feb. I think there will only be 500 pieces made. I emailed them and they said to call their store in NYC. I will be there next week so I will stop in to check on it.

The local AD said they are being shipped soon and they will definitely have one... perhaps in a few weeks. I will go check it out when it comes in

Robert,
While in NYC I went to the Swiss Army store in SOHO. I asked if they had the watch and the salesman pulled one out from behind the counter. It was sold but he let me try it on!!!! Very nice....Large and light!!!! Felt great on the wrist. They took my name and number and told me if they got another in they would call.

Here's a quick update on this piece.
I saw two of them in Geneva two weeks ago. Case numbers were 250 and 263 respectively. It's a very light watch, but visibility seems to be an issue for me. I tried it on and the dial... didn't smile... The bezel movement also felt a little light on and not as 'firm' to the touch as I would have liked. I passed on it. |

Got it.
It is nicer in person that I imagined. Thank you Sean for your help! The dealer even stayed open after hours for me. That was great! What was bad was that all the watches were put away except for this one! They had Rolex, Panerai, Ball, and many others. I need to go back tomorrow. ;-)
GET THIS WATCH. All the pics here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v290/astcell/SA/ A few pics here: |

Congratulations Robert!!
I saw two pieces of the Swiss Army Divemaster in Geneva, and tried one on. It didn't quite float my boat at the time, but your pics have made me think about it all over again. I'm gonna be speaking to an AD friend of mine who has said he will be getting at least 2 allocated to his store. Sorry to intrude, but did they discount?? How's about a detailed review?? |

I'll do a review after wearing it for a few days. I am getting used to the weight and feel right now.
I did receive a discount which was very nice of them considering they stayed open after hours and I was a first-time shopper. I think I found a new AD. |
