My first Rolex - !! Date just II

Had my eye on a Rolex for a while and fancied a Daytona. Casually breezing past Mappin and web I noticed a beautiful classy looking number and was pleasantly surprised to find I was smitten with the Date Just II. I know it's for men, but I have always been a fan of statement sized watches on my own dainty wrist. And at 41mm the Date Just had me smitten. So I searched AD's in my area (and miles further afield) and today casually walked past an AD at 3:55pm closing up for the day. Glimmering at me was a Date Just II white gold fluted bezel charcoal dial with Roman numerals. So my Christmas present was indeed purchased. Only sad part is she has to sleep in her box until Christmas Day :(

So happy to find a dial/type combination that I love so casually!

Pictures to follow within a few moments :)

I have a question. I also just purchased this watch for my boyfriend. What paperwork did your watch come with....? Mine came with the plastic card and i don't remember seeing a owner's manual. Is it supposed to come with one. I'm not worried about it being authentic as I bought it from a reputable dealer but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything that I was supposed to get. What exactly did your come with... I would appreciate any guidance.

I think that the new Rolexes come only with the plastic green warranty card. That's all I got with my blue YM.

Sorry for delay thanks for all the lovely replies.

I love the Roman numerals and the fact that the face is dark but not black. Sets off against the silver and the sparkly bezel. I'm still loving it and have to stop myself looking at it all the time. At least I'm never late for anything and always know the time for passers by asking :)

I got the card and a couple booklets with the watch. Hope this helps x
