Hey guys I have an incoming 448

however it's the summer and its a hot humid mess

so I was wondering the go to summer straps of Radiomir owners

the luminors were always an easy fix as the OEM rubber straps are great.

would love to see some pics of what you got

I have a OEM canvas ... But it is lined with leather, too, so not much of help.

I like the NATO strap option on my 312 & have a 26mm coming for the 210, will post pics when it gets here.

I love natos for my rolex watches ... But i dont think the wire lugs of my 210 are suitable for it .... Cant wait to see your pictures.

I'm not expecting to love it either but knowing for sure was worth $20. Even if it's hideous, I'll post pics.

They have salt water resistant straps...

Else, I'd just get a cheaper leather one.

Agreed, Original Kodiaks are worth a look, very happy with mine. I also have a 74 strap that I wear on the 372 if water activities are on the agenda. FWIW, it looks much cooler now than it did pre first swim & it's holding up great.

Canvas is a good option...I am looking for a Micah French canvas myself.

I'd go canvas or waterproof leather. I'm fine wearing my leather in the summer however. But if swimming, I'd just change into one of my other watches.

Hmm. I have 74 wotancraft and i would ot bring it anywhere near water ... It is just too nice to be spoiled.

Where'd you find the 26mm nato? I've looked around and only found 24's.

What do you think authentic "74" straps were used for back in the day? I would not consider taking a true vintage strap for a swim but have no problems doing so with modern leather that has been made to look old.

I don't like the feel of rubber straps, yesterday I ordered 2 Kodiak 100% resistant leather straps, they look great on photos and from what I got to know they seem to be the best out there as far as water resistance, so if it's good to swim I guess it's good for humidity and sweat which comes with summer time
