Foolish Tudor Question
I am restoring a Tudor 7017/0. It seems similar in dimension to the much-more-valuable 7020. I'm not in love with the 7017 dials being offered, could I use a 7020 dial on my restoration? It wouldn't be pure-pure, but it would be attractive and "authentic". I appreciate any and all respectful input and opinions. The original dial would, of course, be kept with the watch should it be sold in the future.

Both 7017 and 7020/0 used the exact same dials whether it was the early version [shown below on my 7020/0] or the later version w/ stick indies.
So the answer is yes. It might not be the perfect match as far as the dates each dial was being used with that case but should fit and look fine. dP

Thanks to Dan Pierce for a definitive answer: I promise to share the restoration photos with the forum when I have something decent to show for my efforts.

No problem, my friend. Can't wait to see the results. Good luck!
Can't wait to get my 7020/0 from Bob Ridley. dP
