Lost in transaction

Ive been searching for a piece and found one lately. I then communicated with the vintage watch seller. Highly spoken off and heck even hodinkee did an article on him. We've been exchanging emails making sure that everything comes place. Only to find out he forgot our transaction... Tsk tsk... I made sure to tell him thru email that i'll make arrangements with a friend to pick up the watch. I also mention that this will only be his free time to deliver the cash and pick up the watch. Friend drove to the shop talked to his partner, his partner was clueless about the transaction to find out seller totally forgot... Not what i was expecting off from the seller.
