Help authenticating a vintage Rolex

I am looking to pick up a birth year (1974) Rolex and came across this model 6694 Oysterdate. I am unfamiliar with the model and the two tone face. I would like to know if they ever made this style with this color face? The band is aftermarket. Sorry for the pic it was taken from Ebay. Any info will help.
