1603 help
Hi everyone: I'm looking to acquire a 1603 / 1601 and would appreciate your thoughts and guidance.
Aside from "buying the buyer," which I'll surely do, what specific aspects of the watch would you be looking for? What color dials came originally on 1601 / 1603? How important is B&P with a 1601/1603? Thank you for any help and guidance. |

Decide if being able to hack and quickset are important to you. If they are, look for it if you are deciding on a watch. If it is not, go by the dial that you like.

Lots of dial choices too many to mention, b&p are not that important.

1603 help
There are some dials you won't ever see on newer models. I just sold one with what I can only call it a "smoky gold" dial. Not found very often.

Thanks for the insights. Great appreciated. I've seen repeated reference to "wide boy" dials. What is that? How does it affect price / value?
