Help me pick my wedding watch!!!

Hi all,
I am wedding the lady of my dreams in August. As part of the day I will be looking to get my hands on a watch to remember the day and be the symbol of our marriage (i do not wear rings and she understands)...

Anyways, I keep changing my mind on a few pieces which is frustrating the hell out of me.
This watch will be a keeper. My current collection includes a Rolex 16610lv and Hublot Big Bang.
I typically prefer a less dressy option as I spend a significant amount of my time visiting mining, oil rigs and construction sites.

Current options:
- Zenith El Primerio Striking Tenth (On Bracelet)
- Rolex Sub 116610LN (Safe Bet)
- Omega 2500 PO LM LE (Ill hunt one down)
- Newly released Grand Seiko GMT, White Dial, Blue GMT hand.
- Omega Aqua Terra "Skyfall", 41.5mm

The Rolex and Zenith are probably topping the list, the Rolex being the safest option long term and the Zenith, just looks amazing.

Being a Rolex forum I expect the result to be somewhat biased, what would be your ideal wedding watch under 10k? Im open to other options.

Congrats on your big day! Of the options listed, the Sub would be my choice or maybe a GMTc.

Rolex no doubt! Wouldn't always say rolex but from those options listed sub is where it's at! Congrats

How about a sea dweller? Sounds perfect for you. In the above list, sub for sure.

Since you already own a sub I would lean towards the Zenith from your list...

Perhaps you could also stretch your budget a bit more and get a nice SS Daytona?

What can they be had for? Haven't really looked at them seriously in the past, but it's not a bad option.

Based on the ads I've seen on here good condition pre owned SS daytonas can be found for $10K +/-, brand new stickered ones seem to hover around the $12K mark

Congrats BTW! I wish my wife could have been cool enough to get me a watch instead of my silly WG ring...

Dump the Hublot and get a Daytona or the new Sea-Dweller. Wear it for life.

Do you really want to get married wearing an Omega or Seiko? ;-)

You should be able to pick up a tt subc for under 10k.

Okay.... Thanks for the replies guys.
Might stretch to a new Daytona ss, 116610ln or the Zenith. I think I'd prefer the sub over a Sea Dweller. Don't like the watch to be too thick. The zenith with them 3 colored eyes is enticing.
Omega and seiko are out.

If I were to wed, the last thing I'd be concerned with would be a watch. I fall on the side of not wearing a watch for the ceremony. Someone here said he had his best man keep up with timing issues.

In reality, you should wear whatever watch makes you happy.

TT would be a great watch with a suit. However, not sure it would suit your day to day wear. The sea dweller would be a great choice, or if you can pull it off, the Deepsea.

Your probably right. I hardly ever wear a suit. I'm pretty casual.
Think the sub-c might be it. P

I suppose its also an excuse to get another watch, but one that will have a sentimental value ;)
My other watches are just spontaneous purchases.

Actually, I can think of no better reason to purchase a new watch.

none on your list really "grab" me as a wedding/lifetime watch (since you already have a submariner). i like the idea of a daytona.

oh, and, congrats on the upcoming wedding!
