It's one of the finest, innovative watches built. Not much else to say, except thanks for sharing

I prefer the $2.6m Patek version of the reverso. But since it is $2.5995 out of my budget I have my eyes firmly set on a JLC grand reverso. Fabulous piece.

Me too but apart being 2.6 mil it's also 1kg weight would make it hard to wear IMO

I first saw this thread back in the fall, since then I've acquired a Reverso Duo, will post a few pics if the OP doesn't mind sharing the stage. It's such a great watch!

Those are two classy looking faces. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite.

THis watch oozes class and subtle confidence. I love my Reverso because it's so easy to read. It shouldn't be easy to read because he face is so odd compared to other watches. Yet it works. The watch (either face) above can likely be worn in all situations.

The Reverso will definitely be my next watch. I'm going back and forth between one with two faces or one with more complications and a beautiful movement display.

I really like the Day-Night White Gold Duo, but I wish it was available in steel instead of white gold:

I love the Grande Date, but I doubt I would realistically spend much time with the movement side up.

I wish jaeger woukd make IDENTICAL faces, but in white one side, black numbers... the other side white numbers, black face. I don't generally care for both sides.... imagine if they gave you the same watch face, but different colors.... I'd find that more useful

What is the resale on the JLC?

I have found it's worse than Rolex. a typical single faced REverso can be had used easily for $4000 USD.. I think they start well above that. I've been told by dealers to expect 30% decreases as soon as you walk out the door, even with a Reverso.. that's worse than Rolex, but not by much (my subC new depreciated by 25% in 2 months, but I love the Sub).

your question is open ended.. in that the Master Control won't have as good as resale as a Reverso... some of their other watches, like the "Navy Seal" versions sit on shelves for years.. so it depends on which watch you'd buy from JLC... the Geophysic, for example, hardly even takes a hit, from what I am told.. if you can even find one, new or used. DavidSW has a used one for $8200, but they could be had new for $9000 Stainless steel. so, like anything else, it depends on which model you buy. But still, they do not hold their value like VP, Patek, or Rolex.

Cheers to you, Boopie.

I'll have mine on Thursday. Now that the cooler weather is here I will wear it regularly to the office. Don't like the leather strap in the heat.

Nice read & good to see some wrist shots.

I recently got engaged about a month and a half ago. The topic of a watch for our wedding has come up and the JLC Reverso Duo is at the top of my list. Being my fiance is buying it I have to keep it in the realm of reason price wise.

The other considerations are getting something that is timeless and something that is unlike anything else in my line up. The JLC Reverso fits this bill pretty good. I think its something that will stand the test of time(hopefully like the pending marriage lol) and be a welcomed piece in the collection.

Does anyone know how the Reverso Duo wears compared to the newer Duoface?
