Strange dial
Has anybody ever seen such a crested dial or is ist just a fantasy fake?

Yes, and I got no answers there. For me such dial never existed (unknown crest) and also the font on the serial engraving between the lugs is not the one used in the 60ies.

there are dials like that in the submariner book. Dunno about the crest in particular.

Interesting thread!
The dial is wrong. The 369 number are far too big. The proportions are not good. The case has also a big problem: the engravings on the top are different from the ones on the bottom (dept is different). There are other issues... I would stay away! |

I've checked, I cannot speak for it's authenticity although that dies does exist, Iraqui dial, Page 243 of the Rolex submariner story by Guido Molinari. I was wondering it the writing was arabic, and yep seems to be.
If its a copy its a copy of that vintage one. |
