16520 Prices?
When did these get so cheap? It seems you can find a pretty decent mk iv example for $8-9k all day. I seem to remember these being much more expensive as recently as a few years ago. Am I remembering incorrectly?

Maybe people started wearing them everyday and found out how easily the winding rotor strips out.
Yes, that is experience talking. Lol! |

There does seem to be a lot for sale now. However an early mk1/2 is not so easy to find or so cheap

White models are most of the time less expensive compare to the black models

The Patrizzi's seem to command a bit of a premium as well.

there nice ones offered on TZ, TRF, VRF, etc at $9k all day. a quick check of ebay shows a bunch going for sub-$8k. i am not talking about 4 liners, patrizzis, floating cosmographs, etc. but it is not difficult to find a run of the mill 16520 for $8-8.5k. i could be mistaken, but that seems like a significant discount to where they were just a few years ago.

I'm in the market for a SS white dial 16520 and have seen prices range from $8.7k to $12k, depending on condition, with box/papers, etc.

116520 also coming down a lot in price now. I was in an AD the other day that had FOUR 116520's in their display so seems that they're not in demand new anymore so much either now.
