Another boring this or that thread but I need help!

Hi guys, here is my dilema I own a 26470OR and love it. But freaked out about wearing it because of fragile bezel, I already have a tiny scar on it and I cannt sleep because of my OCD!! Lol I have an opportunity to swap straight for the 44mm RG 26400RO which with the ceramic bezel I dont have to worry as much. I own a FC 44 as well and love it, so I figured I would keep my 42 and not use it as much. But now that this opportunity popped up my brain is racing!!!! 😬😬😬
What would you guys do!!??

Here is a pic of my 42

And one of the 44 that I grabbed from the internet (please give credit to I believe its Anil Arjandas he has some awesome watches)

All suggestions are good suggestions please help a buddy out, I cant concentrate at work!!' Lol I love both by the way!!

I'd like to see the 44 on your wrist, the 42 looks big on you, but fits.

If the 44 isn't too big, lugs hanging off both sides of your wrist simultaneously, I would do that trade in a second!

Geez, you and I have the same pieces. I have the same 26470or and FC44 26400au and I HAD the 26400 in gold at one point

I moved the 26400 (yes I know, sacrilege to most guys on the forum) simply because (although I loved the piece) it was simply too heavy and a wore a little big for me. I don't have a small wrist (7.5") but it just did not feel as comfortable as the FC. I find the 26470 is a better balanced piece and gives me a little AP variety (a 42 and a 44).

Having said all of the above, it seems like the whole scratch thing has got you really bummed on the 26470 and you may not enjoy wearing it as much now that it is 'tarnished' in your eyes. Your enjoyment may also be tempered by you consciously trying to be more careful as you wear it. If this is the case, make the switch and enjoy the gold 44 !

I would. Ceramic is just easier to live with and that gold bezel requires more wrist awareness than some want to deal with on a day to day basis

Get it Adrian. It's an awesome piece and the ceramic bezel not only looks fantastic, it makes owning it a lot simpler.

You wont look back. The 44RG does everything the 26470 does (minus about 10% wrist status) but with much more lets say asset protection.

As the owner you will get the same enjoyment from both watches but with less stress.

I would keep the 42mm and sell the other for the RG 44MM. I know you say you have OCD but I think if you give in to it you lose out and it is something that most of us can learn to fight and accept... I'm not really talking about watches only here.

Might be a bit hard then Neil as it goes from a swap to a $20,000 cash injection situation.

I would swap, the RG with ceramic bezel is stunning and no more worrying about the scratches, for me the interest in getting a ROO is the ceramic bezel, would not get a ROO without the CE bezel

Hum, it's true that my friend Ken absolutely never, and I mean NEVER enables by posting awesome pics of awesome watches or writing how great is this or that piece

The ROO pieces with ceramic bezels are stunning, especially the RG novelty, it's a killer piece, it took me a very long time to warm up to them, that is ROO's and even Nautiluses, 2 years ago I found the 5711 not nice at all, but as often if you love a thing on the spot the love fades as quickly as it came, whereas when it takes you time to like it you usually keep liking them, same thing for RM watches, didn't like and I like them more every day, but will probably never get one, some are really awesome, the Skull, the Nadal models, the 011 and a few others really rock
